Our Story: Crafting Unforgettable Journeys in Wellington

At SG Prestige, we believe that exceptional events deserve extraordinary journeys. Born from a lifelong passion for timeless automotive engineering and world-class hospitality, SG Prestige was established to bring a new level of refined travel to the Wellington and Wairarapa regions. We aren’t just a car hire service; we are custodians of automotive prestige, dedicated to turning life’s biggest milestones into seamless, unforgettable memories.

The Passion Behind the Fleet

Our story is rooted in an unwavering appreciation for the Bentley mark. To us, these aren’t merely vehicles—they are masterpieces of British craftsmanship, blending grand heritage with effortless luxury. Recognising a distinct gap in the local market for truly exclusive, dual-era luxury transport, we curated Wellington’s only private collection featuring both a classic and a modern Bentley. Every car in our garage is meticulously maintained, polished, and presented with pride, ensuring your ride is as flawless as the event you’re celebrating.

More Than a Ride: A Personalised Chauffeur Experience

Behind every booking at SG Prestige is a team driven by precision, professionalism, and genuine Kiwi warmth. Our professional chauffeurs are more than just drivers—they are experienced local hosts who prioritise your safety, comfort, and peace of mind. From managing complex wedding day schedules to providing discreet, high-level corporate transfers, we handle every logistical detail so you can sit back, relax, and savour the moment.

Proudly Serving Greater Wellington & Beyond

Rooted in the heart of the capital, SG Prestige is honoured to partner with couples, event planners, executive teams, and visitors across Wellington, Kapiti, and the Wairarapa wine country. Whether you are arriving at a seaside ceremony, making an entrance at a gala, or touring the region’s premier vineyards, we are committed to elevating your journey with signature elegance and unmatched prestige.

We couldn’t have asked for better wedding transport. Honestly we’d give SG Prestige 6 stars if we could!

The vehicle was presented in immaculate condition and looked absolutely stunning. We can’t wait to see our professional photos with it.

Our wedding day threw up more than a few curveballs, including torrential rain, strong winds, power outages and traffic delays. Throughout it all, John was incredibly patient, flexible and accommodating, handling every change without complaint and making what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless.

John was friendly, professional and genuinely committed to making our day special. We were especially grateful that he happily got in and out of the vehicle multiple times in freezing, wet Wellington weather so we could capture the perfect photos.

It was worth every cent, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John to any couple looking for exceptional service and a beautiful wedding vehicle. Thank you again for going above and beyond!

We hired one of the Bentley classics and chauffeur service from John @ SG Prestige Luxury Rentals for my sons Ball event. John made the process so easy from start to finish making the booking and payment hassle-free while keeping up his side of the deal. John was also my sons chauffeur on the night and was easy-going, respectful, professional, a very safe driver, and a genuine gentleman. The 1965 Bentley classic is truly an amazing vehicle and an eye magnet, spacious, clean, and was reliable on the night. My son enjoyed the ride, enjoyed John's company, and was in complete awe with his grand entrance in classic style to his Ball event. Thanks John @ SG Prestige Luxury rentals for your service's and helping to make my sons night a special one to remember. Legend!

What a beautiful experience these guys provided. The Bentley Mulsanne is a dream, and it rode so smoothly and quietly all the way to my wedding venue. Driver was so respectful and calm. Overall an idyllic surreal experience of pure quiet before the chaos, which I really needed. He also stayed around a bit longer so we could get photos, and answered so many questions from our guests who were enamoured by the car. Highly recommend to all brides who want a sleek ride to their venue to arrive in style.

Fantastic service, arrived earlier, very helpful, running around after us. Offered us bottled water which was unexpected, super attentive to the Bridal party. Really helped our day run smoothly. We hired the Bentley car and luxury mercedes shuttle making our day a breeze
Would highly recommend this company and would absolutely use again if we needed cars to hire.
